FOUR CADETS AWARDED WRIGHT BROTHERS ACHIEVEMENT
October was another busy month for ACE Basin. In addition to welcoming several new cadets to our squadron, we also had several significant promotions. We have highlighted previous cadets in the past year who have achieved the milestone Wright Brother's Award, but in the month of October multiple cadets achieved this milestone!
In a promotion ceremony on October 25 in Cottageville, four cadets were pinned with the rank of C/SSgt and recognized as Wright Brother's recipients.
The Wright Brother's Achievement marks the end of the first phase of the Cadet Program. C/SSgt J. Atherton, C/SSgt S. Atherton, C/SSgt R. Atherton, and C/SSgt S. Elson will all now move into the next phase of their Civil Air Patrol journey as they take on leadership roles. These four cadets exemplify CAP's Core Values and are already contributing greatly to the health and function of the Squadron. Their unique blend of talents and skills will help them to continue to learn, while also helping newer cadets coming through the ranks behind them.
Also promoted in October's ceremony were C/Amn A. Hayes and C/SrA A. Atherton. Congratulations to our cadets!
