Wreaths Across America

Every year in December, ACE Basin Composite Squadron is humbled to participate in the Wreaths Across America at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

We honor those veterans that have gone before by joining with volunteers in placing wreaths of remembrance.

You can support this wonderful program, and us, throughout the year.

Encampment

Encampment is the Civil Air Patrol program squeezed into one incredible week. It is a chance for cadets and adult volunteers to learn, to build teams and to have experiences like no other.

We all build friendships with others in South Carolina and in many other States that are represented during SC Encampment week.

Tuskegee Airmen

The ACE Basin Squadron welcomed members of the Hiram E. Mann Chapter of The Tuskegee Airmen to the Low Country Regional Airport in Walterboro to share with the Squadron the enduring legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen.

Presentations were made by U.S. Air Force Veterans James Hampton and Barron Wilkins, followed by a Question-and-Answer session by phone with Tuskegee Airman Dr. Eugene J. Richardson, Jr.

Low Country Regional Airport is home to the most southerly Tuskegee Airman memorial in the USA. The 3rd Airforce and Tuskegee Airmen serving here inspired our squadron patch.
